Dr. Fragoso was first introduced to chiropractic as a child after being involved in a car accident, which left him with neck and back pain. As a result of these injuries, he was taken to a local chiropractor for treatment. After two weeks of care his symptoms were greatly reduced and 4 weeks later they had fully resolved. It was at this time that Dr. Fragoso first experienced the healing powers of chiropractic. Although unclear about the process of chiropractic, he was sure about one thing, it worked! About ten years later, Dr. Fragoso would again be introduced to chiropractic, however this time as a student, rather than a patient. Dr. Fragoso always knew he wanted to enter the health care profession, he was just unsure about which path to take. During his last year of undergraduate studies at Chico State, he decided to learn more about chiropractic, the profession that helped him as a child. Intrigued by its philosophical basis, Dr. Fragoso realized that he had found his path and decided to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Dr. Fragoso is a certified provider of Active Release Techniques ® (ART). Dr. Fragoso was first introduced to ART following a shoulder injury, which he suffered while lifting weights. After having his shoulder examined by a physical therapist it was concluded that he had strained his supraspinatus muscle, a rotator cuff muscle that helps to stabilize the shoulder joint. After a year and a half of limited range of motion and pain with specific shoulder movements, he had his shoulder examined once again, this time by an ART practitioner. Within 2 weeks of treatment, his range of motion was restored and he was once again able to workout with weights. It was at this time that Dr. Fragoso decided to learn more about ART and eventually became a provider himself.
